Description
This showy, “firelight” heliconia was standing out among the green foliage hanging wildly. I noticed it while walking in the neighborhood and snapped a photo of it on my cell phone. I couldn’t wait to get home and paint my interpretation of it in watercolor. Long and lean it needed a long, narrow format.
