Description
The water is where it’s at for me. When I was growing up in the Upper Peninsula of MI it was Lake Superior, then Lake Ontario while living in upstate NY, and now it’s the Pacific Ocean. No matter what I’m thinking or feeling, the magic of the water is a salve for the soul. The hypnotic effect of the motion of the water at low tide allows me to release whatever ails me. This spot on the north shore of Maui is one of my favorites. While painting it I brought the calming effect of the water to me. Hopefully, you will feel it when you look at it.
