Description
More than 100 species of heliconia are grown for their big, bright, waxy, long-lasting flower clusters. The flowers are the color of fire on these lobster-claw variety that grow in my backyard. I’m lucky to look out my studio window to see them. One day, with the sun hitting just right, I brought some in the house to model for me. What a joy to have fresh flowers!
