These grazing goats are my neighbors up the street from me. They are symbolic in myths and folklore as an emblem of sensuality, determination, health and vitality. A male goat represents virility while the female goat epitomizes reproduction and abundance. This is a pastel piece drawn on location — hard to do with moving subject matter. But I took some reference photos to help me back at the studio.
