Understanding leads to love. As an artist who explores different mediums and ways of expressing my thoughts and emotions, I’m on my own path to understanding who I am as well as to understand my world around me. When I look beyond the surface of another human being I see that we are made up of the same things. Though our circumstances and experiences are different, we all feel the same emotions and have the same hierarchy of needs. Of course, no two people are alike, but how I see it is that we have more similarities than differences. The greatest of all of those similarities is love. We all need someone to love and someone to love us. We seek understanding because once we understand someone we cannot help but love them. When there is more love in the world, everyone benefits.
